Our Origin and Mission
The Cambridge Institute of International Education was founded in 2008. Since its founding, The Cambridge Institute has worked with over 100 schools in more than 30 states to create meaningful and sustainable international programs, bringing diverse groups of students to high schools across the United States. The mission of The Cambridge Institute is to:
- Increase the international profile of American secondary education
- Promote cultural exchange by cultivating relationships among youth in countries with mature, burgeoning, and rapidly changing economies.
The Cambridge Institute makes full use of its resources, engaging academia as well as domestic and international businesses in China and elsewhere abroad. Our combined experience in education and in international business brings great value to clients seeking effective international development, strategic planning, and brand management.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy focuses on creating personal relationships. We strive to become a part of your team, understand your needs, and help you realize your aspirations as a leading school in your community. Our dedication and care for our students keep us motivated to stay in touch and do all that we can to ensure our students’ success in American schools.
Today’s youth have a growing interest in world cultures. In our global community of increasingly fast-paced communication, it is essential that secondary school students are given the tools to thrive. It is our belief that by fostering interaction between different cultures, we can promote mutual understanding and generate thoughtful problem solvers for the future.
Our Vision
Our goal is to establish fruitful and long-lasting partnerships with private schools in America, providing cultural competency, brand management, student recruitment, and management consulting for all of our partners. Underpinning every endeavor is our commitment to extending quality education to students from around the world.
